YAY!! we have money!!

The cheque has finally cleared, so once dad goes to work we will be going to town to pay everyone :) YAY!! dad dont know mum is using her super money you see :P He thinks we are paying it off gradually! yeah right! will take yonks :P

Sickness wise im better!! yay!!! just have that cough STILL but brad still has his so i still got a few more days to go i think. This week is his last week at work then he has 4 weeks off! someone help me!!! come take him off my hands PLEASE!! i already dreading it haha. We have to do LOTS in the first week he told me, as i have my op near the end of the second week, soo looks like good ol brad be playing nurse hey :P hahaha!

I just came back from grocery shopping was fun for once. i dont like going can you tell? i only spent $81.01 aswell! 35 items! mum got 36 items and spent about $40 more haha! bargin shopper mel here :P Stocked up on tinned tuna MMMMM i love the stuff, best stired through pasta yummy! I got brad some chilli salami the woman goes "wanna try abit first" so me and mum had half a slice each and it seems ok then all of a sudden BAM the heat haha i not going to tell him about it :P but it is actually nice :P apart from the after part :P

Anyways mum just rang to go over there, i just got home! how am i meant to clean up!!!!

We have a cheque!!

We got the cheque yesterday, mum applied for 5 Grand, and she got $4,999.99 on a cheque! hahaha! They robbed her of 1c!! HOW RUDE! went and put it in bank yesterday. Mum did dads tax cheque on the thursday before and was cleared on saturday night!! so might be done by monday? then go pay them all, not anistetic man yet as dont know if using the same one or not gotta wait and see :)

Im feeling alot better today no headaches so far, my neck muscles are sore but i still think that is more from the hard bed yesterday more than from my sickness. I have 2 cold sores now tho :( near each other so i hope they dont join!! im zoviraxing them!! I have my appetite back abit so finally starting to eat. They think i fainted from fasting the day before, not having much to eat that day or much fluid, as that has happened before when i was starving self (was 16 mind you) trying to lose weight.

I have decided i am going to do tony ferguson for the week before the op, mum is going to pay for it, and dad will prob do it aswell, they had a stall in town yesterday and we tried one of them and they are actually nice! and someone else who has been banded by my surgeon said she did them and he didnt have a problem :)

I really have to clean up tomorrow or sunday the place isnt that bad but its messy if that makes sense haha, but both of us being sick havent done much he did the dishes the other day (well 3/4 of them the lazy turd) just gotta vac etc he can dust i hate it :P

3 weeks yesterday till my op! i cant believe i have to do another countdown!! but atleast i know now i wasnt that verry nervous waiting, you watch, next time i will be the second person (he does 2 a day) and then i will be worrying!! i taking my knitting which i havent done for like ages and is collecting dust! but i will finish it and FIT into it in a year!! thats my goal :P http://www.lincraft.com.au/downloads/Easy%20Hooded%20Foxy%20Coat.pdf thats it if you wanna see :P i doing a pinky/purply one! looks awesome! Sick as a dog!!

PLEASE TAKE THIS SICKNESS AWAY IVE HAD ENOUGH!!!!

man i feel like im dying, honestly, my chest area is so ripped up from coughing it feels like. Today I got up when he woke up for work, 3:45 to be precis :P i felt like spewing, so went to loo, was holding onto the door frame as wasnt feeling to good. Next thing i know brad is holding me up going "you alright, you alright, you alright" over and over again. He said i was out for about 2 mins! Eyes open but they were rolled back. I then spewed!! i dont know how much came out, and why is spew always orange colour when i havent had nothing orange?

He rang mum "melissa has fainted come over quick" she was here in about a minute she must have sped :) she goes im taking you to the hospital, we got there waited 30 mins if even that we got there about 4am got discharged 12:20.

Had blood tests done, showed and infection, had 2 of them fluid drips in 2 hours, had a wee test had lots of keytones (apparently means im dry as) and protein (i thought you eat protein not wee it) The doc did the "say AHHHH" thing so i said AHHHHHH she went to pull the wooden stick from my mouth and it got stuck to my tongue haha My temp at its highest there today was 38.9 but it was going up, then going down awhile later then coming back up again just as fast.

Got sent home as i was feeling good, now i starting to get fever again :( so im about to go have a shower see if that helps abit or not im meant to go to doctors for a checkup tomorrow morning but i dont want to drive as i dont feel safe driving as i still have dizzy spells

Anyways enough for now, im gonna go shower and maybe feel better :P

Op Re-Schduled :(

Ok i got to the hosp at 11:42 as i was busting to pee, and had left my container at home so went there to do it to relieve myself but they made me WAIT in the waiting room. I went over to them about 12:15 told them i am about to wet myself and went and done it, i got 1 mm if even that!! GRRR!

I go to another room to be examined etc, blood pressure, temp all that stuff. My temp was 38.4 :( she said she will check it again, as i told her it was HOT in the waiting room even mum said it was.

Get to the room, get undressed they gave me the biggest gown they had, it was a size TEN i think man it was small and my boobs were losing circulation haha. I get the TED's on, yes thigh high ones. The nurse calls the anistetic man, and he says i will have to call the surgeon, so far i dont think it will be going ahead. At this stage i was STRONG and didnt cry (im verry emotional) the surgeon comes in "melissa, i have rebooked you for thursday the 16th of august, is that ok?" im thinking its going to have to be isnt it? haha.

So i have some sangas, some juice gave mum my ice cream cos i felt like i would vomit it up, aswell as the jelly. Then got MORE of the foamy wash and went home. Mum rang brad "melissa needs to be picked up from my house please" he didnt believe her and wanted to talk to me, at this stage i was a wreck he goes "its ok, best you dont do it when your sick anyway, give yourself time to recover, it wasnt me that made you sick was it?" i said no its both our faults haha i should have stayed away from him and yeah :)

Now im feeling SHIT i have the heater on 4 we normally do it on 2 or 3, i am still freezing and have goose bumps and my hands still blue but my face feels like its burning :(

Man i feel like absolute crap! mum bought me head cold fighter tabs, and i bought a 3 litre bottle of OJ aswell :)

Talk tomorrow maybe depends how i feel lol brad said he might have to take tomorrow off work as he still feels yucky :(

Todays the Day!!!!!

OMG OMG!! no more sleeps, its all happening today!!! YAY!!! im so excited :P

I couldnt really sleep much last night, tossing and turning, i have a headache this morning from it aswell :( Brad went off to work, i said to him "ok which do you want to buy me? Credit for my phone? or flowers? the credit will be cheaper in the end i think" haha so i buying credit he give me the money back :P

I couldnt be bothered getting up to make his lunch this morning, so gave him $10 to take and buy it, he was happy about that but it will prob get him a suasage roll and coke that canteen is soo dear haha.

Im about to have my shower in the foamy stuff. Not looking forward to it one bit im telling you. Then i have to pack my bag, sit down and watch the rest of all saints i taped last night, set up tv to tape house as i will be too drugged up tonight to watch it i reckon.

Ok im off for my shower etc, talk to you all on the other side :P

The last meal .....

So, as today was to be my last meal for awhile, mum and dad took me out for lunch to the polish place down the road from me. They have awesome food there!! A proper meal aswell, not just the $10 2 course special meals they have haha. Dad even had oysters!! so i pinched one and OMG Im going to miss them!! So what did we have you ask? Dad had fillet mingon, i had surf and tur (MMMMMMM) and mum had chicken kiev!! was yummy i still full from it now. And i have a thin Frying steak in the fridge to cook up for tea!! I just having that tho, and boof head is having a steak sandwich.

Brad is better, i was lying down before as sooo tired today, and he wouldnt stop bloody talking!! i was going to tell him to get out and let me try nanna nap, but he must have got my hint cos i wasnt replying to him and he goes "ok, i been in bed all day, i feel alot better now so up i get ok?" haha

TOMORROW is the day!! i got a call from the hosp, i have to be there 12:30pm, and i will be going to lever 4 after it haha. i havent even packed me bag yet, mums little flowery one she gave me looks to small i not even going to attempt that one :P So the back pack it is! plus has that little compartment at the front for my chuppa chupa etc haha.

Our place looks like a bomb has hit it, and i just told him i am only doing the dishes, and that is it. When i was sick, i could still clean etc, he has just lyed in bed :P lazy i tell you! He just goes "we have dim sim for tea?" i said NO we are having steak! haha "oh i forgot about the steak, i havent eaten for days cos i been sick, its good for my belly tho" yeah i just wish i had a body like his, Fits into a size Small and Medium! pffft!!

Went to mums work today, and her supervisor told me to go to an all you can eat place, i said nah i still full from lunch biggest meal i had in yonks!! she said still go! but i dont really want much food in my stomach tomorrow anyways :)

Anyways i cant stop yawning, i going to go do the dishes, cook tea and then have a little sleep again and then watch all saints and all them shows :)

Two sleeps to go!!

As the title says .... Two sleeps to go!! YAY!! So todays shopping included : 1 x nightie, a purple one to be exact it has eeyore? on it. Like my bright yellow canary look alike one i was going to get but purple haha. And some de-gas tablets :) we walked around town for over 2 hours, waiting for mums car to get new tyres on it haha.

I got me soup from nannas tonight, have blended it up but it still has some ham/bacon chunks in there so i will give it another blend when i take it out of freezer :) I made brads batch of chilli last night, put some mashed spud with it as he LOVES that apparently so all set there

Brad is sick at the moment, he has a head cold, he got today and tomorrow off work back to work wednesday. I told him not to make me sick because i cant get sick at the moment, so far so good. not even no signs of it. he was bugging me during the night with his shivering, i told him to get up and sleep on the couch with the heater on, who cares about the gas bill would rather him warm, and me getting sleep than paying a few extra $$'s on the gas bill :)

Will get the call tomorrow telling me what time i have to be at the hospital on wednesday, going down to mums work tomorrow and taking the consent form for the assistant in tomorrow aswell, i forgot all about it, and went to take it today but by time car was done they would have been closed :( so tomorrow for sure!! Then its that lovely wash thing in the antiseptic tomorrow night, i dont like having showers at night much as it takes AGES for my hair to dry as it is that thick, and because i am trying to grow it (new me stage so new hair style aswell :P ) It is still short but its longest i have had it in a few years. Front bit is like chin level back bit is shoulder length kinda I can tie it up nearly without pinning it down aswell.

Walking around town today we walked past a bridal clearance shop and had the most AWESOME dress in there, it is hard to explain but the top bit is like a corset has black flowers on it, the bottom bit has black stuff on it aswell, even mum liked it, she going to see what size it is, it looks like a 10 or so tho, so i doubt i will get that low i dont want to get that low was $1500 marked down to $400 i think it was! gotta go to town tomorrow so will look then and then i can try find a pic of it aswell haha.

Anyways thats it for now, i have a bag to pack,Im doing it tonight incase i forget stuff and i can recheck tomorrow and wednesday, then have bins to take out once i have cleaned abit haha.

Stress head mel!!!

Why do i always stress so easily? That is a new thing to change aswell i think!!

Rang Aus super, asked them if they got the apra form, they said no *panic mode starts now* i continue talking to the guy, he was alright actually really nice haha, got put on hold twice, he gave me his boss's addy to get it express posted to if it hadnt been sent yet. So i rang Apra, they said yes it was sent yesterday, i was about to ask what the bloody hell happened to wednesday. I stayed cool tho :P I asked where it was getting sent from, they said canberra. So takes approx 2 days to get to melb, so they should have it monday, tuesday at the latest, now i REALLY worry. I explain i am booked in for surgery on wednesday and NEED TO PAY for it still!! Got off the phone to them, and rang my surgeons office, spoke to tess the receptionist, she is awesome haha, she goes "oh dont worry about it mel, just pay for it after the cheque has cleared" or something along them lines i forget her exact words haha. So now off panic mode!! YAY!!!

We did shopping tonight, was a funny shop haha. conversation between me and brad:
B- will you be able to cook after you have it done?
M- No, you will have to do it sorry until i feel abit better
B- oh ok, so i should just buy like tinned sghetti and baked beans to have on toast?
M- No, you can buy meat and vegies and cook proper meals!!
B- But you know im buggered by time i get home from work so i dont cook tea
M- But you finish work at 1:30pm, and you have tea about 5:30pm, so you have 4 hours to recover, and cook your own tea for a few nights, maybe even a week if i feel like being lazy
Mum (yes she butted in haha) - He can come over to my place for some meals if he wants saves cooking for just him
B as we walk away from her - Do i HAVE to go to janets for tea some nights? her cooking stinks, and i dont like it, and she cant cook, and i would rather my baked beans on toast, did i tell you her cooking stinks and i dont like it?
M- well dont you dare expect me to go to your mothers place for any meals again and act nice and her YUCKY food then if you cant go to my mums place for tea!!!

Convo ended there hahaha, he shut up, but when we got to the tinned food bit, the dag pics up the TRAY of tinned sghetti and puts in in the trolley, im talking 12 tins here, im cracking up laughing, so is mum as she caught up now haha, so he takes 6 off and puts the tray back cos why take up our trolley space with it haha. I want some sustagen in the little tetra packs, but nooo, its cheaper to buy it in the tin *sighs* and the same with V8 juice, why buy little ones when you can get the 1l bottle? i dont even know if i like the stuff yet FFS!

5 sleeps to go, and now i know that it is DEFF going ahead now, i am excited as!! will start packing my bag on the weekend haha i that excited!! My friend who works at the hosp told me that i prob wont have to wear knickers to the O.R, i want to, i dont want them seeing it all down there haha its not on public display for everyone to view! so i want to wear knickers!! if their paper ones dont fit, i will wear my cotton ones we bought :P so NER :P

We got approval!!!

WOOHOO!!! i rang APRA today and they go said it was approved 30 mins before i called and that it would be sent to the super fund in todays mail! yay!!! so happy haha. Got the letter today for the anistetic man aswell.

Tomorrow i have to take nanna to heart excercise place again, it goes for 3 months every thursday, but so far mum not working tomorrow so we going "nightie shopping" i dont like nighties, i would much prefer my trackies and a top like i wear at home, but nooooo apparently you have to look nice when your in hospital and trackies and a top is just not good enough according to her haha! well bugger it, if she is paying then i dont care really! i will only wear it once so i dont see no point in it anyways. So whilst nanna doing her excercises we going shopping then cos mum needs to go to kmart out that way anyways and they have a few good shops out there (mum just got her tax back haha) and yeah!

OMG OMG this time next week PLEASE be thinking about me!! i will be in pain im sure!!! haha how fast has this whole experience gone!! Brad goes to me tonight "so its next week you have it done?" i said yes, he didnt believe me i told him to look at the calendar and then not believe me his reply "HOLY SHIT!!" haha I think he got sick of me calling him "grug" cos he got a haircut today haha i even have the grug pic in my msn display and tease he about it :P

bit of this, bit of that :)

I had my pre-admin appt today, got the sexy pre op foam stuff to wash in the night before and the morning of the op, and a betadine swap for my belly button? WTF haha Got measured for the TED's did all that stuff and came home in the FREEZING cold! Rang my health fund, found out i AM covered for a private room (mum reckons i wasnt i said i was haha) so rang the hosp as i told them i want a shared room, now i want a private one, i dont like sharing very much, yes it will be boring but i will have my own space and peace and quiet and not have snorers in my room :P and they wont have to put up with me sleeping haha.

Apra wise, i havent heard nothing else yet, tomorrow is the day that we will have an answer by, i will call them tomorow arvo and find out how all is going. Reney you can come to geelong with your hammer :P but they in melbourne i think haha! But i found out someone who got done by Dr K, got their bill sent to them 4 days after the op, so maybe i dont have to pay it before the op? Hmmmm!

Mum doing a shop for me this week, like sustagen in tetra packs, jellys etc then when i come out of hosp she will get yogurts etc :) Gotta love her lol. It is all happening so fast, this time next week, i will be bloody freaking! seriously!! Brad dont like hosps and keeps asking if he HAS to come up and see me, i said even if he only comes up once, thats all that matters i understand he dont like them but would like to see him once :P (his brother died in a hosp and he tries to avoid them if he can) I told him to bring flowers with him 2 haha, i have NEVER got flowers :(

anyways too cold over here, i going to sit next to heater and watch all saints that i taped tonight :)

9 sleeps to go!! OMG!

So, there is 9 sleeps to go until i am booked in for my op. Only problem i am having so far, is the realease of the super, i dont know if it has been approved or not yet, and if the cheque will clear on time or what, and if it dont, will my surgeon allow for me to pay when the cheque has cleared? soo many thoughts going through my head!! ... I just rang them haha, descision will be made by close of business wednesday maybe earlier as they ahead of schedule mum needs to ring her super people and get a person to Att: it to, so they can send it straight there and save time.

Brad and I went and saw knocked up saturday night, was awesome! i loved it haha. But then after watching it, and the screaming when having the kid, has kinda got me thinking no kids ill adopt haha, yes i know its a movie, but still HELLO it will hurt like hell but i will change my mind i know it :) i cant wait to lose my weight so we can start a family :)

Mums friend is doing a KK fundraiser for netball, so we went out there to order some, i looked at the return date and laughed .... 8th of august i think it is AFTER i get banded, i order brad a dozen tho he can take them to work and eat them :P She dont know about me getting banded and i dont want to tell her, but mum nearly slipped, was me, mum, cheryl (mums work supervisor) and pam (the one doing fundraiser) sitting at her table, and mum goes "i have invited brad over for meals in 2 weeks time, and will cook him regular ones after that" pam goes why just brad and not melissa aswell? mum looked at me like UHH CRAP!! and im like, apparently im not good enough for their little gang, and have to cook my own bloody meals cos i stink apparently. hahaha was the only thing i could think of, off top of my head!

I just got a sms from mum who is at work "ring up about money" haha so many times we think the same things i pick up the phone to call her, and the thing rings in me hand and its her!! freaky stuff!

We still havent been to see brads mum yet, this weekend coming i THINK it is going to happen, have my uncles 50th on saturday so looks like its sunday. we could just not tell her and tell her next time we go up there? but then knowing her she will get arky and all that and ohhh she bugs me haha.

Pre-Admin date!!!

I got home from doing the nanna stuff today to a phone call from the Pre-Admin Nurse. The one i saw last time is on hols so it is someone completly different this time. I see her on tuesday at 2:00pm i told mum if she gets offered work on the day, to accept it, as its just going over the surgery again apparently and getting measured for the stocking things? i dont know lol but if she gets work i told her to take it :P I asked her if she would be taking the 25th off work, she goes "oh i dont know, i dont know if i will be able to work knowing your getting operated on and not knowing how it is going, i might, i might not, i might cry at work from worrying" haha made me laugh, and she was dead set serious!!! We were laughing at my aunt for taking a WEEK off work when her daughter (20) had her tonsils out, but this is a bigger operation yes? :P

Today was funny as, most i have laughed in AGES!! Yes i was laughing at my nanna doing these "excersices" haha reason being, she is SOO STUBBORN!! she thinks the world revolves around her haha and when someone tells her elsewise she refuses to do it. i had tears in eyes from laughing today it was that bad i had to walk out of the room. There were 6 work stations, in 5 minute intervals then they had to sit down have a rest whilst they filled in how they felt doing them. There was 5 mins walking around the room, 5 mins on a excersice bike, doing step ups (she was on the lowest step and still whinging haha) arm excersices with hand weights ranging from 500 grams to 3 kilos, some up and go thing where you sit and stand 3 times, walk across room and do it again over there and leg stretches things. i think thats all. since was her first week she didnt have to do up and go she dont have to do that till week 4. Funniest bit was this comment "i have not rode a bike since i was pregnant with my daughter 40 years ago, and when that happened i got back from the shops and had to get rushed to hospital because i was having her, so havent rode since" mind you, that was her last kid. My other aunt who lives with her was doing the stuff with her and they were racing on the bikes haha dags.

I took my hospital papers in the other day !! YAY!!! bout time!!! i rang APRA today, pretending to be mum haha, they got the forms tuesday said i will have an answer by wednesday next week, i asked if they can send the approval straight to super fund to speed it up they said no worries.

This morning i wake up, get up cos i had to drive brad to work so i could have the car, and i look at my trackie pants still 3/4 asleep mind you and there is all this brown stuff on them :S WTF!! i try to look at it, blurry eyes, its not looking good, its all over my thighs, and on my bum :O HOW RUDE!! i looked at the sheet and was on there 2, im thinking, i know i didnt shit myself, i am not that stupid, then i realise, DICKHEAD went to bed with "rolo's" in his pocket didnt he!! i coulda screamed!! if it hadn't have been 3:45am, and we were not living in units, i would have!! i made him change the sheets AND the doona cover AND wash my pants :P that will teach him to have chocolate in his pockets in bed :P

I had a craving for bertie beetles tonight, went to safeway as i saw them on sale for $3 a bag for 17!! went there they didnt have none :( so i bought a roast chook for on his sammich's for tomorrow for work, and some strass which i still have to put in fridge lol. there goes my choc craving :( *sighs* Tomorrow is more nanna taxi stuff, toe nail place i think it is, she tried to get out of going to this place for 2 weeks when i have my op "my grand daughter cant take me she having a op" haha guy goes "oh we can get someone to pick you up edith" hahaha shoulda seen her face! priceless!!

Thats enough rambling on for tonight, i trying to type this and watch Criminal Intent? is that on at 8:30 on 10? the one that is meant to be about anna nicole smith?

2 weeks to go!!!

Yesterday and today have been pretty much normal i reckon, yesterday i had a freak out stage, was reading over the aus super website and thought that mum had to send 3 ID things photocopied, sent her a sms "call me!!" then i had another look and saw that since she is applying for under $10,000 she only had to send a copy of her license so was happy then haha. I am eager to know how the process is going!! will get mum to call tomorrow to see if it has been approved yet or not :) haha i cant wait!!!

I had an appt with "job club" people today, was boring was there 10 mins max, had to fill in some survey thing about am i looking for work etc, and then he told me i have to keep going back every 2 weeks and do it again and again etc! DAMN YOU!!! i told him i am booked in for surgery on the 25th so i WONT be coming in for 2 weeks when i have the op, he asked what i was having done i told him, his reply "oh that is awesome, it may help you with your job hunting" i was going to say "yes i know i am fat and that is the main reason why i dont have a job, i have no self confidence, i have no idea what to say in an interview, i have asked you for help but have i recieved it yet? NO!" I dont know why i keep going back to be honest, maybe its cos he has a hot accent? haha i dont know what it is tho, i suck at picking accents i think he sounds kiwi? i dont know but i like it alot haha.

Hmmm, what else has been happening? For the next 2 days i am "nanna's taxi" tomorrow is some heart class thingy i dont know she did tell me but she rambled on so i tuned out and was like "ok, yep, oh ok, yeah i will be there" i even had to ring her tonight to find out what time i had to be there tomorrow haha, oops maybe i should listen next time? i know she is not happy about going tho she a whinger "the guy told me i dont have to start it straight away, i told him my grand-daughter was having surgery in 3 weeks, and she wont be able to take me, so he said i can start after you are better, then he comes this week and tells me i can start this week!" haha she is 79 and knows how to talk her way out of things :P it has dietician, heart doctor all them people there apparently, so here i am going to be waiting in there with her for over 2 hours, i shall take my ipod :) then friday is foot person i should have kept my mouth shut when she went to doctors and he asked about if she can cut her own toe nails haha lesson learnt there *sighs*

Ok, enough from me, i have washing to dry to wear tomorrow, and brad needs work clothes dried aswell.

Today has been hectic in a way, last night i had the urge to vomit, i ran to toilet and was dry reatching that bad that i got a cramp in my tongue!! man that hurts! i went to bed about 10ish i think, woke brad up this morning at 3:45am for work, went back to sleep, mum rings at 6:30 "get up your going to the doctors!" im like um ok then. Get up, get dressed and off we go, get there just before 7am, he opens at 7am but has 8am on the door :P

Anyways the verdict is ...... i have a sinus infection, aswell as where my tonsils used to be, is all red and swollen so thats why i cant swallow im guessing lol havent been eating today, been drinking HEAPS of water even that hurts :(

We got all the paperwork for the super people and APRA done today and express posted it, so it should be there tomorrow, even tho we havent got the approval letter yet, we getting it sent straight to the super company, and have wrote on there that I am booked in for surgery on the 25th of July, so need the money before then, found out they send a check! i rang them back asking if they deposit it in the banks? and they said no they only do checks :( no fair haha. Still have to take my hosp papers in yet but that can wait till tomorrow or wednesday when i have to go to town anyways i think :)

I need to clean, but i dont have the energy to do it, nor the motivation today i will most likely do it tomorrow if im lucky. Do you know how annoying it is when you try to sniff and your nose is all congested and yucky and it makes your sore throat even worse? hahaha it is totally pissing me off!!! Brad thinks its funny, i will laugh when he gets sick :P

ERGHHH!! im sick!!!!

last night i was feeling crap, i went to bed at about 8pm!! i got up around 8am this morning, and felt even worse, my throat feels like i have swallowed a million razor blades, my nose is constantly running i went through nearly a box of tissues when i was at mums place, i cant stop sneezing and coughing and i have a headache! I have some "job club" thing tomorrow that i am meant to be going to, but i aint, i am always looking for exscuses to get out of it, as it is a waste of time lol now i have one for this week :P all it is, is doing a resume, a cover letter, all that shit, cold calling employers looking to see if they have any jobs there etc, I am not stupid, i know how to find a job, its just i am not really looking at the moment, why look at the moment when in under 3 weeks i will need to take a week off for the surgery? only reason i left last job was because i had to have an op on my hand, and i wont go back there as it can make the carpal tunell come back and i not going through that again!!

We are having some pork fillet stuffed with apricot and hazelnut i think it is for tea, roasting it, i dont feel like cooking and brad has just started peeling vegies, so looks like he cooking tea! YAY!! i honestly dont feel like eating tho so prob wont have tea i dont think. I might have a cup of soup or something dont know yet too early to think about that :P

My brothers g/f walked into the room today when me and mum were talking about my surgery, lucky she didnt hear what was happening, she asked"what is she getting done" mum said mind your own business, its rude to listen in on other peoples conversations! hahaha made me laugh at least :) I mean, she is a size meduim i am guessing, maybe about a 12? and she is one of them ones who go "oh im fat, i need to lose weight" she goes to the gym everyday for 3 hours i think it is, stands infront of the mirror and hits underneath her chin to try and get rid of the "fat" that is there :S WTF! oh she just annoys me! thats the reason she is not knowing what i am having done, and James (brother) is only finding out like the day before it mum said, as he has a tendancy of leaking info to his g/f and then it will be 20 questions "who is your surgeon" "will i be able to get it done" "how much weight will you lose" "how much does it cost" "them questions plus more annoying ones she normally asks.

Our gas bill is going to be soo high this time, i have it on all the time, but then again this place is freezing!! i dont like winter and i dont like summer cos then its too hot, and being fat, i dont expose myself, so cover up i dont even wear singlet tops in summer only around the house, i like autumn and spring cos they nice weather months :) if only all the time was like that so there was no colds/flu virus's and no sunburn/heat stroke etc!!

Anyways, all i feel like doing is going and lying on the couch and sleeping the bedroom is too cold to go in there so the couch it is, bring out me blankey and pillows and im set :)

soup de loop!!!

Today was another yucky day! i didnt want to go outside as it was FREEZING and raining and yucky nearly all day. The only time i went outside was to take recycling stuff out and to go to mums to watch a show on foxtel (extreme makeover home edition) for the rest of the day, i was in my trackies, ugg boots and a daggy top lol.

But i did get this place clean, and i did make some pumpkin soup, a double batch, i managed to get a 1 litre container, and 3 x 610 mls containers filled and had some for lunch each. we bought a big tray of mince in groceries cos brad wants me to make a big batch of chilli and freeze it saves having to cook just for himself :P cos i wont be doing it hahaha. He will be on 4 weeks hols in august, so perfect timing in a way, he can do everything for me :)

I am still thinking of ways to tell his mum about the op aswell, he wanted to go see her today, but i said no, im making soup and cleaning up plus its yucky outside i dont want to go out there lol "what about next weekend?" i reminded him we are going to the circus cos they leave on sunday next weekend :P "well the one after that?" ok, thats it, so now i have 2 more weeks to decide how i am going to tell her *sighs* just looking at calender, that means it will be the weekend before my op :O oh no!! HELP!!! we not even engaged yet, let along married and she already is the MIL from hell! lol dont get me wrong or nothing, we been together 4 yrs in september, and she has came down to see us 3 times in that 4 years? :S we live in geelong, her sunbury, so about an hour away i reckon its not that hard.

Mum made the "kickstart" soup today after watching her and helping i am thinking if i want to make one or not, i got bored standing there cutting the celery haha, let alone the rest of the stuff that goes in there! plus too much for me to freeze :P so i should go pinch some of hers tomorrow when she not looking and freeze it haha!

Tests done and letter ready!

I went to have the blood tests and ECG this morning, no one told me you have to strip down your top half :O when she told me i was like OMG NOO!! lol but that went fine, i used to the needles now, I used to hate them, then started giving blood and got some tattoos (ofcourse i didnt give blood for1 2 months after a tatt ) and now im ok with them :) Receptionist just rang saying my letter from surgeon to APRA is ready to be collected now, and can i go after 2pm as they going out for lunch lol i said yeah no worries.

We got ADSL 2+ yesterday and we had it for a few hours then it died, and had to go on "back up dial up" you know how slow that is after you get used to the fast net? :( but we have it fixed for now off to buy a new modem etc *sighs*

I have started writting down stuff to get before the op, my aunt rang this morning saying she got me 4 1l containers to freeze some soup in lol they get abit carried away. We going out to see them when mum gets home from work which is i dont know when any time after 1pm i guess.

Sometime between now and the 25th i will take some photos and put them on here, i am not a photo person i hate them with a passion, i do have one from my bro's deb about 5 years ago if that counts? but in that 5 yrs i have put on alot of weight :( but its still one i can put on :) Been yucky weather to go out and take photos i reckon raining and cold and miserable ERGH!!

Anyways we off to go shopping, brad (bf) took yesterday and today off work just for his new internet lol andhe wasnt happy when it broke :P haha it made me laugh tho :P

My journey begins .....

I am new to this, so please be kind :)

After much research and hoping that this would happen, i finally have a date for my operation! July 25th to be exact :) I had a constant thought in my head, that my surgeon wasnt going to do this for some reason. Im sure everyone had that right? Surely it cant just be me?

So heres the journey i went through ....

I went to see my GP, as i have PCOS, and in the past i had tried metformin i think it was, and that worked a treat, i lost about 10 kilos on that but i had hives from it, in a way i wanted to continue taking them to make the weight fall off me, but then i thought about my health and went back to see him, he said stop taking so i did. I went back to him about 2 months ago now and asked if there is anything else i can try, he said he is NOT going to prescribe me any more tablets, and that he had been to some seminar recently about the lap-band and that this is alot more safer than tablets. I said ok, got the refferal to Dr Kirrof, and went home told my parents about it, did some research etc. I rang the surgeons office and asked about approx costs. When i found out i told my parents, there was no way we could afford that :(

After researching on the net, i found out about how you can get money released early from the super :) so now mum is doing that to pay for my op :)

I had my appt with the nurse you have to see prior to seeing surgeon, that went fine, then my 1st appt. with Dr K, that went great aswell! was soo nervous. Then came the dietician, my main thing i have to change is to stop drinking soft drink and to start back at the gym when it comes back on in 2 weeks, although after talking to surgeon today i going to go over put on hold for 1 more month and just walk with mum until my op.

My appt i had today i was sitting in the waiting room, feeling sick i was that nervous lol, he called me in, then told me that it was all going ahead, he got out a sample of the band and port to show mum what it was all about, and explain it more to her etc. As my liver isnt enlarged he said i dont really have to do optifast, but i am thinking of doing it for a week? i am still deciding on this one. So let the people i have told about this, that its all ships ahead and yeah!
